Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you have enjoyed seeing all the swaps.  Stay tuned for my next post, your not going to want to miss it!  Until then stamping friends...

Happy Stamping!

We had 16 Stampin' Up Demonstrators at this event.  That is a pretty good group of girls in one space.  Debbie set it up so that we would have 3 stamping sessions, 6 cards in 2 of the sessions and 4 on the last session.  So there was 1 card at each of the 6 stations, but, room enough for 2-3 demonstrators at each station.  This seemed to work very well for us and keep things moving smoothly.  So at every station you got to sit with new people, which was nice.  It was great getting to know some of the girls that I haven't met or didn't know well.  I host a demonstrator quarterly swap, and it was nice to put a face to some of those names that I see in the swaps.  Sometimes you even got lucky and sat near the person that created the card.  She then could give you tips or tricks about the card.  I learned a couple of new things yesterday, that is always fun!

Make sure you continue to follow my blog this week.  I will be posting more fun pictures from this demonstrator event all this week.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Until then....

Hello Stampers!  I'm glad you stopped by today.  I went to a awesome Stampin' Up Demonstrator Event this past Saturday at my friend Debbie Jaegers house.  Debbie puts on a awesome event every year.  It is a all day event, great company, great projects and of course great food.  For this demo event all demonstrators must design a demonstratable card that takes about 8-10 minutes to complete.  We must pre-package kits for each demonstrator to complete that card.  Want to see my card?

So what do you think?  This card is super fast and easy, how much better can it get?

Here are all the supplies used for this card:

Stamps:  Keepsake Ornaments & More Merry Messages

Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Very Vanilla & Be of Good Cheer designer series paper

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler & Gumball Green

Accessories:  Keepsake Ornaments Framelits, Cherry Cobbler 1\2" Scallop Dots Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Rhinestones and dimensionals

Did I forget to mention that there were prizes given away at this demo event?  Yes, everyone won a door prize.  I won the Early Espresso 1/2" Scallop Tulle Ribbon and a package of Brushed Bronze Designer Buttons.  Of course Debbie had them packaged all pretty.

Want to hear some more exciting news?  I won 2nd place for my project.  I was so excited!  I won a wonderful gift bag filled with the following goodies:

Champagne Glimmer Paper
Everyday Happenings Designer Printed Calendar and Display
Festival of Prints Designer Paper Stack
Large Basic Pearls
Gold Stampin Dazzle Marker
Gumball Green Satin Stitched Ribbon

How wonderful is that. I was shocked that I won second prize since there were so many wonderful cards there.  Sandi Flowers won first prize, great job Sandi.  Margaret Hall won third prize, great job Margaret.

Here is my swap card for the demo event.

I decided to go with some non-traditional Christmas colors.  What do you think?  I really like how this card came out.  Did you notice all those pearls?  Yes, there were 25 pearls on each card for 18 people.  Do you know how many pearls that is?  450 Pearls...WOW!

Here are all the supplies used for this card:

Stamps:  Keepsake Ornaments, Greetings of the Season & More Merry Messages

Paper:  Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Pool Party & Very Vanilla

Ink:  Soft Suede & Pool Party

Accessories:  Keepsake Ornaments Framelits, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Large Scallop Edgelits, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Extra Large Oval Punch, Crumb Cake 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Sponge, Basic Pears, Champagne Shimmer Mist, Frost White Shimmer Mist & dimensionals

I had such a amazing time at the demo event on Saturday.  So I would like to give a big shout out to my friend and fellow demo Debbie Jaeger.  She did a wonderful job, thank you Debbie!

Well stamping friends that is it for today.  Stay tuned this week to see post with pictures of wonderful projects from this demo event.

Until then, thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Printers Tray

Hello Stampers!  What a beautiful Sunday it is!  Today I would like to share with you my Halloween Printers Tray that I made.  This was something that I earned for a Convention 2012 Recruiting Challange.  If you recruited someone from July 20th - August 31st you got this kit.  How cute is this?  I had a lot of fun making this project.  I will be so happy to display this at Halloween time.  As another bonus, they had extras left over and we could purchase extra kits if we wanted to.  So look for another one come for Christmas.

Here is what was included in the kit:

Printers Tray
Howl-O-Ween Accessory Pack which included all the paper, ribbon, bakers twine & buttons
Toxic Treats Stamp Set

I also used another stamp set which did not come with the kit called Wicket Cool.  I love how this project came out, and I hope you like it too.

I am working on my blog today to get some post scheduled for this week, so stay tuned......

Thank you for stopping by today!
Happy Stamping :-)
